Hey!
Alejandro González Plácito is a product/ experience/ industrial designer based in Boston. He recently graduated from MIT with a Bachelor of Science in Art & Design. As a design major, his work focused primarily on design methodology. Ale is naturally curious, so he explored coursework and completed projects within various fields like architecture, product design, computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
Alejandro enjoys the design process and he is passionate about integrating both artistic and human-centered features into his work. He feels confident in all stages of the design process, but Ale most enjoys ideation and prototyping. When it comes to a particular design-field preference, Alejandro keeps an open mind. He prefers a variety of projects and he does not limit his design skill set to a particular field. Overall, Alejandro values learning new skills and then always striving for the design solution that is the most useful, adequate, comfortable, and delightful.
Alejandro is a proud Chicano (U.S born of Mexican descent) originally from Denver, Colorado. In his free time, Ale is always looking to experience something new. This includes anything relating to architecture, music, art, and travel. He believes that something useful can be learned from nearly every experience. Day to day, Alejandro enjoys cooking, music, socializing, or making art.
