Maravillas Construction is a local, general contractor in Denver, CO. They offer an extensive range of construction services and they are currently expanding services outside of Denver. My assignment was to design a small web app; the Project Builder Tool.

Project Builder Tool

The Project Builder Tool is designed to give customers more control and organization during the planning stage of their home renovation.

Visualizing and planning any construction project can be intimidating for a customer that does not know much about construction, tools, or materials.

With this tool, website guests are able to visually organize their design ideas. The inspiration board collects all favorited images. Project + Services lets users create project profiles containing all project details. Lastly, the Estimate + Timeline section is an information dashboard. 

Research

Research was focused on user experiences commonly seen when browsing for construction services. Key UI elements for construction services include visual grid menus, image galleries, and easy access to contacting support/ experts. 

Wireframes

Initial wireframes for the company's main site and prototypes for the Project Builder Tool.
